My relationship with Dianne began as that of her student and morphed into that of a friendship. She changed my life with her knowledge, her kindness and her perspective. I had so hoped for a different outcome. She's taken a piece of my heart with her.

Professor Berger-Hill was my all-time favorite professor at ODU! I am truly heartbroken to learn of her passing. She was the sweetest and most compassionate person and professor. May she rest in peace!
