Diane Lane Obituary

Diane Adams Lane YEMASSEE, SC - Diane Adams Lane, wife of the late Jim Lane, died Thursday afternoon at the Hospice of Charleston Hospice Center in Mt. Pleasant. She was 67. Mrs. Lane was born April 14, 1947 in Walterboro, a daughter of the late James Adams and Chessa Lee Reeves Adams. She was a member of the Great Swamp Baptist Church, and she and her late husband owned and operated Lane's Painting Co. She operated her own cleaning business, and she loved spending most of her time outdoors fishing and gardening. She is survived by her children: David Lane of Yemassee, Marie Lane of Walterboro, and Tammy Lane of Yemassee. She has three brothers: Terry Adams of Walterboro, and Ted and Harold Adams of Yemassee. There are three sisters: Jane Carson of Ridgeland, Grace Reeder of Bonneau, and Judy Crosby of Early Branch. She leaves behind six grandchildren: Savannah, Clayton, Porscha, Jim, Morgan and Ethan Lane. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
