I'm very sorry for the lose of u son.I hope you'll find a touch of comfort in knowing that I remeber and that I'm thinking of u very much.i know these days can be harder than most days. Although it's sad to lose theose who are dear to us, there is comfort in remebering all the times they made such a difference in our lives. Jesus walks among us still bringing His peace to all who need it. May he be especially close to you at this time.May love suurround you comfort you, I wish i was there to comfort u very much you is in my heart at all time.Hrer a poem we all such read and keep my our heart. Jesus walked among us. he walked awhile among us so that we might better see the breath of his compassion...His love for u and me. He walked awhile among us, givingall He had to give, to set us an example... to reach us how to live. He left his place in heaven, his glory and his throne and walk awhile among us to show the way back home.To couisn helen We have truly loved, we will always love, and that which was deeply felt, we will always feel the love that coocoo give everyone and everybody. Remeber, death can take all things save onelove remains, for love alone is real. Helen we will miss him so much that u don't know have much coocoo mean to us.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To the Perry family,I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to you all. I do not know Dexter, but my fiance' Charles Duberry, was very hurt by his lost. It was told to me from God to let you all who are mourning be joyful,and know that this young man is not dead his spirit will always remain,he is not here in body but here in spirit. Our God now has a new angel looking over us.

Man Coo-Coo I cant believe your gone man. You were like a brother to me you and Butta, you two inspired me to get out of the streets and do something with my life and I did that anything I needed you two had it for me and now seeing you gone from us it hurts me more. I know what else to say but I love you man. I hope your family gets through this and make it I know your gone but you will never be forgotten at least not in my heart everything I do its for you and Butta

SEEMS LIKE YESYERDAY YOU WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL AND WE WAS GEEKIN. WE HAD SOME GOOD TIMES IN THERE. NOW YOUR GONE AND THE PAIN IS UNBEARABLE. I SIT HERE AND THINK THAT IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO BE YOU. I HEARD THE NEWS AND SAID NAW IT AINT MY BOY. IT AINT MY COO COO. IT AINT SET IN YET. BUT I GUESS I HAVE TO FACE IT THAT YOUR IN A BETTER PLACE RIGHT NOW AND YOU LOOKIN DOWN ON US WAITIN TO SEE US AGAIN. AND IN DUE TIME WE WILL ALL BE BACK TOGETHER DOIN THE SAME O' THANG. We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

I express the highest level of sorrow to Helen and family. Your son was also part of my extended family. I hurt so much inside to hear about coo coo. He and my daughter Cherita were good friends and we both watched both of them grow up from litle kids to young adults together. Even though I moved away I still think of all of you. I have kept you and your kids in my prayers and I hope you find the strength to move on with Jehovah in your live. May Jehovah be upon you and your family. Dexter "coo coo" Perry will be missed.

God Bless his family and his true friends and his children. I know that me and him had our ups and downs but I never would of expect this to happen to such a carring person. I still can remember walking to school together just hearing him laughing and making fun of people. A lot of people are hurt by his death but at least now we now he is in a better place.

Unexpected, no warning, is how we experienced your loss. Although I don't know you Dexter or better known as CooCoo to everyone I have felt how special you are through tears, smiles, and thoughts. None of us here on earth can even find words to explain the beautiful place you have just entered, all we can do is dream and hope that one day we are lucky enough to get invited by god just like you have. May your sweet soul rest in peace and watch over all that are in need especially your family. Like I said before I don't know you but my brothers Lever and Lamont were good friends with your little brother Spider and they have told me what a great person you are. From my family to yours may our almighty Lord pick you up and guide you through this tough journey. It won't get easier but one day you will understand why he makes the decisions he does. RIP Dexter you are gone but never ever forgotten!

I met you once, but someone who is dear to me was hurt by your passing. My heart sincerely goes out to your son, your parents/grand, other relatives and friends. Obviousely you touched the lives you have come in touch with, and they will forever cherish your memory. Your memory will always be alive. Rest in Peace, your are GOD's hands and there can be no harm done to you anymore.

To Ms.Helen I can't say I know what you're going through because I never went through this but all you have to do is trust in God, he will see you through this. I didn't know Dexter that much but I knew you. Just keep praying and God will bring you through. He will never put no more on you than you can bear. Take care of the rest of the family. Dexter will be looking down smiling at ya'll.

Coo Coo.. where do I begin??? Its been such a joy knowing you. I remember back in the days all of us having a good old time in meadow brooke. I will never forget that smile you had. I know there will be a lot of people down here crying for you....but you should be crying for us because your now in the better place. We all want you here but I know that GOD needs you more!! We will all see you again....in due time! I will keep your family in my prayers. You will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten!

Hey cooc I was just sittin here laughing about back in the day when we were growing up and how you was always gettin in some type of trouble like when you shot through your mom window with the bee bee gun and how you and davon used to fight ever single day over nonsense. I remember when I used to be over your house and Helen would be tearing your behind up and when she would leave the room you would come to me laughing like it didnt hurt and surely Helen would come back and beat you again ha ha. I remember and would never forget the one unique thing about when you would play video games you held the joystick upside down, I used to think that was so cool. Oh! I almost forgot the time me and you got into the biggest fight and you busted my lip wide ppen and we had to be separated from each other for like 3 weeks and couldnt wait to play with each other again. Man the list goes on and on but from the time we moved apart from each other we've grown up to be different individuals from our childhood but I must say my memories and feelings of you will stay the same forever.

Man coo coo it seems like yesterday I was just coming down the stairs to go to school in the morning and your mom yelling "Cherita come wait for coo coo to walk to school together" (ha ha). I miss those days when me and you used to play together everyday fight every other day and we would spend the night over each others house when our moms would go out to the club together. Those memories of us growing up together I will never forget and especially the memories of you and Davon always trying to be fresh and grown when we would play house together ha ha. But anyway even though I wont be there to pay my respects I will pray to God to give your family and myself the strength to get through this cause its still not reality to me yet but in time my pain will heal. I ask all of your family and close friends to stay strong and realize that you are in Gods hands right now and thats the safest place you could ever be. I Love You.

Coo Coo- I remember last year around this time, I crossed your mother at the hair store. We where just talking about life in general, and things that where going on in S'ville. When I heard the news all I could do is think about your mother/family. Mrs. Perry things will get better, my heart goes out to you and your family. Keep your heads up from the mist of this tragic storm. Coo Coo you were a beautiful person inside as well as out! You will be truly missed, and the memories from Middle to High School, church at (SOP in Jedburg)the many nights my girls and your home boys chilled in the streets of what we called it back in the day MB(brings a smile to my face) and conversations that you and I had. Somehow you always brought a smile on my face reguardless what was wrong with me! I will always hold the memory of you, as long as I struggle to battle this crazy world that we live in you will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace, I hope to see you flying in the sky oneday!

I would like to send my condolences out to the Perry family I knew CooCoo and I will miss the fact that he use to act like he couldn't pronounce my name right. He always made me laugh and was a good friend to all that knew him.
