Devan Advincula Obituary

Dear Donna and Family,

Devan was not only a beautiful and smart girl but she had a heart of gold and that, above all is what made her unique and special. I remember her as always being so out going and giving. I will never forget the memories I have of her. I know God has made a special place in heaven for her and she will always be here with you. Please take care of yourselves.

Donna, A little late, but I only heard of your loss last night. I am saddened to hear of your loss, but I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Ernie

I can't believe my cousin is gone, i seen her one day n the next she's not here, i just can't believe it... but she will always be in my prayers and always in my heart. well lots of love goes out to the family and friends. Love, Tiffany Grammer

My thoughts are with your family during this difficult time. She was a beautiful, kind, and wonderfully spirited woman. We attended the same high school and she always was above the drama and everyday life of teenagers as she was so levelheaded, was a friend to those who were in need of one, and had such a warm heart. Devan will never be forgotten as she has given so many lovely memories to all that have encountered her.

We were so sorry to hear of Devon's death. My son, Buck was a friend of Devon's. He was with the group who went to Cancun after graduation. He always has nice things to say about her. Buck was impressed with your family & the visitation for Devon. He was dreading it and you were able to make it such a positive experience for Devon's friends. He and her other friends were devastated about her accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Devan was a friend of my son Mitchell and we had met her a couple of times. She was a sweet girl and will be remembered to all that knew her just that way. All of us in the upstate send our love and prayers to your family.

We have so many great memories and stories about Devan. I am blessed to know such a wonderful woman like you. Remember when you and Gina came with me to get my first tatto, on my back. Everytime i look at it, it reminds me of you, and you laughed so hard at faces i made. I will miss you Devan and you will always have a special place in my heart.

I had the privilege of teaching Devan English her senior year of high school and found her to be a smart, kind, and always respectful student. All of her classmates loved her outgoing and kind personality. She was a wonderful young woman who will be missed. Her family is in our prayers during this difficult time.

I want to start with saying thank you to Donna for letting me be a part of Devan's life for a while. She brought so much joy to my life. She was a very beautiful girl who blossomed into a most beautiful woman. I was so thankful for her continued friendship through all of the hard times and her never ending love. You should be very proud Donna. I will miss her very much. You were truely blessed to have such a wonderful daughter and now heaven is. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

We love you and are gonna miss you. We have some great child hood memories modeling at the pool at Granny Winges in those horrible dresses and high heels we thought we were hot stuff though...You will never be forgotten.

Wow! Where to start. I have so many amazing memories with you Devan. From the sixth grade I have been lucky enough to know you and blessed by your company. I have loved you as far back as I can remember and we have been through so much. Thank you for always believing in me and taking a chance on me. Our time together will always be tresured especially at USCS. I will always have you in my heart. You have taught me so much and made me a better person. I will always remember your words of wisdom and I promise to teach what I have learned. Thank you for fighting the good fight and for so many memories. I thank God I had the privilege of spending a fun-filled weekend in Gatlinburg with Devan and my sons. Our kayaking trip ended with her in the water. It drenched her body but not her spirit. She took it all in stride and made the weekend very special. A two hour hiking trip to a waterfall with her gave me an opportunity to see what a sweet person she was. I am only one among so very many that will miss her. A life so short, but so full. God certainly has added a beautiful rose to his garden.

Words will never be able to express the heartache we feel for you all. We will be here for you in the coming weeks, months and years. We love you!
