Denny Fussell Obituary

Dear Shirley, Kevin and Scott,

We know what a difficult year this has been for each of you and your families.Denny must be so proud to see how you have supported each other, the rest of the family and brought his electronic world forward. Our love to each of you.

Shirley, I hope you will have the time this summer to visit your 'old haunts' on Hilton Head. We look forward to it.

Denny it is going on six weeks sinse we lost you, and we are still in a state of shock with your passing so sudden, and we know that we aren't suppose to question the Lord! and we are not questioning the Lord , but it is hard to understand why? However the Lord knows, but we miss you so much, you touched so many lives. I love you very much Mom

Shirley, Denny was the most inspiring person I have ever known. I will always be proud of him and miss him tremendously.

Condolences from the Kavis family. Denny was a dedicated, hard worker and it was a priviledge to work beside him. His devotion to family was even more extraordinary. He often spoke of his children and grand children and went out of his way to entertain our boys whenever he got to see them. He will be missed by all those who knew him.

I was so shocked to hear the news of Denny's death. We had heart-to-heart talks about our Mothers, knowing their time on earth was limited but never dreamed Denny was so close behind. I know how much you leaned on him during and after the loss of your Mother. Isn't God wonderful to have not called him home until after then? I praise God for placing you in my life and pray that he will continue to strengthen you and your family each day. I know you are hurting terribly right now, but God can and will ease that pain and replace it with precious memories!

Mrs. Fussell, I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Fussell. I sold you both your home when you came to Macon. I knew you two were special people when we first met and through the years even though I haven't seen either of you; I often thought about you. For some unknown reason I had Mr. Fussell on my mind for several weeks prior to his death. When I read it in the paper I was so shocked and hurt. I am deeply sorry for your loss; He was truly a fine person. I pray God sends you strength in the coming days and please know your friends care.

Denny was a good friend and respected colleague that we shall all miss. The world is a lesser place without him but his light shines through everyone that he touched. He will be missed but will remain in our hearts.

Dear Shirley, Kevin and Scott, Although my husband Bob and I have never met your family or Denny, we felt as if we knew you. We heard so many wonderful comments about Denny through our son Jason Lyons. Our hearts have been so broken for you, Kevin and Scott since Jason relayed the news to us of Denny's untimely passing. You have been in our thoughts and prayers since and will be in the days ahead when it is the roughest. Jason told me that the team from Nashville will be at Denny's Memorial and we will there as well in spirit asking the Lord to comfort and hold you up during this sad time. Matthew 5:4

I had the pleasure of Denny teaching me many many things for several years.

He was a great teacher, mentor and a wonderful example of a patient, kind man.

We'll remember you to our children who are too small to remember 'Grandpa Denny'.

The news of Denny has been shocking and dismaying. We have never met the family of Denny, but our thoughts and prayers are with them. We have had the pleasure of working with Denny for 3 or 4 years and he was not only great to work with, but also a wonderful person. We will certainly miss him.

This is truely a sad day. Denny was a friend and mentor. Always there when you needed him. I owe a great deal to Denny for all his teaching and friendship and will always remember him and treasure the good times we all had for so many years. We were truely blessed too have him in our lives and I will always have him and shirley and family in my prayers. God Bless!

Stuart and I are in NYC and heard from Hugh yesterday. We are so saddened for you and all the family. The notice in the paper said it all about who Denny was and how devoted he was to all his family. We are sorry we cannot be with you on Saturday but we shall hold you in our hearts. Your strength will come from all that the love that Denny gave each of you over the years.
