Dennis LaCombe Obituary

LACOMBE, Dennis MSgt Dennis Paul LaCombe, USAF (Ret.) 66, of Ladson, husband of Gracie Marie Bozard LaCombe died Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Summerville Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 2 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Entombment will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Hwy. 52, Moncks Corner. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until 8. Mr. LaCombe was born April 12, 1941 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, son of the late Paul Augustin LaCombe and Margaret Anna Krueger LaCombe. He was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School, Wisconsin. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. After 26 years in the Air Force he worked at Leiber Correctional Facility as a correctional officer. He was an avid Jeff Gordon fan and he attended Salem Baptist Church. Survivors including his wife are: 2 daughters: Teresa Marie LaCombe Shelton of Angier, NC and Cheryll Ann LaCombe of Ladson; 2 grandchildren: Michael Christopher Shelton of North Charleston and Alyssa Marie Shelton of Angier, NC; 2 brothers: Gary Allen LaCombe of Milwaukee, WI and James Willard LaCombe of Oconomowoc, WI.
