The relatives of Mrs. Smalls are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, September 18, 2021 11:00 AM at the Smith-McNeal Chapel 2119 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, SC 29405. Interment: Morris Brown AME Church Cemetery. Mrs. Smalls is survived by her daughter: Mrs. Franchell Smalls-Lewis (Jerell); mother: Mrs. Vermell Brewer-Bass; devoted companion: Mr. Luther Haynes, Jr.; grandchildren: Laylah-Mare D., Ashlynn-Nicole G. and Jerell A. Lewis II; and siblings: Mr. Lenard Bass, Mr. Johnathan (Karen), Mr. Vannoy Bass; Rev. Rita Bass; Ms. Sheila Knight (Warren), Mr. Glenn Bass (Felicia) and Ms. Kimberly Bass. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr.Francis Smalls and father, Mr. Isaac Bass. A walk-through viewing will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
