Delores "Dee" Murray Boggans SUMMERVILLE - Delores "Dee" Murray Boggan, 89, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025 at AGAPE Hospice in Summerville, SC. Born on October 29, 1935, in Siler City, NC, Dee was a lifelong learner, a passionate lover of music, and a deeply caring soul whose warmth touched many. She is survived by her daughter, Holly Boggan, her son, Crisman Boggan, four grandchildren - Nicco, Nol, Wynne and Kyler - along with beloved nieces and nephews, her dogs, Remy and Riley, and many dear friends. Dee found great purpose in her career as a librarian at MUSC, where her dedication to knowledge left a lasting impression. Her love for singing led her to participate in multiple choirs, where her voice added beauty and joy. She adored her dogs, treasured good conversation, and found a spiritual home at the Unitarian Church at Charleston. There she discovered a loving community and new chosen family who enriched her later years. A service celebrating Dee's life will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Charleston on August 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm. All who knew and loved her are warmly invited to attend and honor her memory.
