To the entire Brown, Rivers, Simmons and Lowman Families,
It's hard to believe that Debra is no longer here with us on earth. Although she has left a vacant spot in all our lives, it is so comforting to know that she has taken her place at the foot of the thorn of our Lord and Savior. To hear her voice again, would be a joy, to see her face again, would warm the heart and to feel her touch, would be a comfort....But she is gone. So we must keep her memory alive with these thoughts. Let her live forever in our hearts as we embrace and cherish her legacy of Love. Remember the good times and the generosity of her giving, remember her.
My deepest sympathy and condolences are with you all for the passing of your Sister, you Aunt, your Cousin and your Friend.

Crossing the Bar
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To the Brown Family ,please accept my condolences for your lost. I meet Deborah two years ago thru a mutual friend , From the first time we meet, It was a beginning of a new friend ship . I could tell from our first meeting the type person she was . Deborah made you laugh when you are hurting she was a person that no matter what she was going thru wanted to help others. I remember meeting Deborah as she was leaving the Hospital after treatment we shared a laugh and started to tell me she was having car trouble I offered to assist and was able to replace the engine so that she could have dependable transportation to her Doctor visits. She call me while I was working on the car and asked if she could come out to help me , That small gesture made tears come to my eyes, because I knew how sick she was . That gave more determination to complete the task and return the car to Deborah. That unselfishness was Deborah ...... I mention to Deb that no, I did not need any help. but wish I could bring her to the shop and make all of her sickness go away.. I will miss my new friend and I thank God for the opportunity to share these last two years with Deb.Our Prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. MY God bless you all during this time of bereavement.. Bruce A. Mills Medical University Of South Carolina

To Our Family,
When we think about Debra, we do not think about loss; Debra, was always an angel!!! Our thoughts of Aunt Fannie becomes more vivid in our everyday lives and the way she reared her children to be as one entity. This will always be in our everyday thoughts and plague our minds forever. She was God fearing and taught her children so very well. We the Washington, Jones, and Rose Family, Love you all so much. We will always be here for you, and God's Grace and Mercy will see you through this time of despair. Love, Always

To the Brown Family:
Revelation 21:1-4 speaks, "I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth... Now the dewlling of God is with men, and He will live with them... He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." There is no more suffering and pain for Debra now. Even though, she is physically gone from us, she will forever live in our hearts. Her infectous smile, her laugher, and conversations she's shared with us will keep us in tune with her spirit. Remember she is in Peace with her Father in Heaven and will should rejoice, because Debra Lynn Brown is free. Family, keep the Faith and just know that everything will be just fine, as long as you hold on to God's unchanging hands.
