Deborah Young Nicholson LADSON - Deborah Young Nicholson, 62, of Ladson, widow of Floyd Eugene Nicholson, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Summerville Medical Center. Family and friends are invited to attend Debbie's visitation on Friday, July 1, from 11am to 12pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 10360 US-78, Summerville, SC 29483, followed by her funeral service at 12pm. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made in her honor to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Debbie was born January 16, 1960, in Camden, SC, daughter of the late Edward Thomas Young and Mary Hegler Young. She spent most of life being a homemaker and caring for others but did work outside of the home in the import export industry. She loved spending time with all of her family but especially her grandchildren and her dog, Cocoa. She had many special friends that she enjoyed spending time with including her longtime friend, Mary Jane Hinman. Her church family and book club also brought much joy to her life. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all that knew her. Survivors include two daughters: Tiffany Hills (Denis) of Mount Pleasant and Jillian Niemira (Chayse) of Ladson; grandchildren: Denis (Lil Man) Hills III, Kayne Niemira and Koltyn Niemira; sibling: Tony Haven Young of Ladson.
