Deborah Brockington-Inniss CHARLESTON - The relatives and friends of Mrs. Deborah Brockington-Inniss are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at 1:30 PM, Saturday, April 29, 2023, at First Baptist Church of James Island, 1110 Camp Road, Charleston, SC, Rev. Dr. Charlie L. Murray, Jr., Eulogist. Interment - Sunset Memorial Gardens. A public viewing will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Murray's Mortuary - North Charleston Chapel, 4060 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. Deborah was also a proud member of the Orangeburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Deborah leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters: Akil L. Butler (Jim) of Atlanta, GA and Latoya L. Savage (Brice) of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren: Sanai Savage, Brice Savage, and Aurora Butler; parents: Dr. Benjamin Brockington and Mrs. Wilhelmenia C. M. Brockington of Charleston, SC; brother, Dr. Daryl B. (Dr. Wanda) Brockington of Orangeburg, SC; aunts: Dr. Alethia B. Starke (William) of Stevenson, MD and Vermelle McClain of Lamar, SC; uncles: Dr. Johnny L. Brockington and Richard (Barbara) Brockington, both of Charleston, SC, Dr. Robert Bush of Augusta, GA; nieces and nephews: Ashley, Paige, Benjamin, Lauren, and Aiden Brockington; and a host of relatives and friends.
