Thank you all for your messages..It is heartwarming to read all of the beautiful things you have shared with us. All of my other family members are not online but I will share all of these messages with each of them....my love goes back out to all of you too and to your families in return. We must remember how fleeting life is, and Dawn's early passing was surly a reminder of this...Teri

Dawn...even those of us who talk a lot are sometimes at a loss for words! You were my link to the memories of all the crazy things we did as we approached adulthood. I will miss seeing you and reminiscing about all the good times!
To Dawn's family..I offer my sincerest condolences. You are in my heart and in my thoughts. May you find comfort in all your memories.

I was so sorry to hear of Dawn's passing and wish to extend my deepest sympathy and prayers to her sister, Diane, and all of her family. Dawn was a truly lovely lady. Though I would pass by her at Monday bingo many, many times, she never failed to smile whenever our eyes met, and I will always be grateful for her support. I can and will continue to see and feel her kind smile.

Dear Teri and Family,
I was so shocked to hear from my sister Ellen about Dawn. A lovely lady inside and out. I always enjoyed seeing her on Monday night bingo at St. Charles and also chatting about South Carolina. A smile that will always be in my heart. Prayers and love to all of you.

To Dawn's family,
I have been away & I am in shock over her passing. I always saw her with such a smiling face at St. Charles Bingo no matter whether she lost or won. I also saw her at our 45th class reunion & wondered why I hadn't heard from her after friending her on FB.
I am so sorry to all of you & will light a candle for her this weekend at Mass. Please know that she will always be an angel watching over all of you.

To Dawn's family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working on our 45th high school reunion with Dawn for the past nine months. Losing her will leave a huge void in all our lives. Her smile was infectious.

I met Dawn through the oldies but goodies show. After that we saw each other at other functions. We always had so much fun together. We sang, and danced, and laughed. She was a great woman and will be greatly missed. R.I.P. Dawn.

I have many wonderful memories with Dawn in the "Up With People" group when we were both teenagers. She will be so sadly missed by many.

Allison, Teri, Morgan I only knew Dawn on facebook and at the Berkshire Carousel where she was always smiling and helping with everything she could. There is no way to replace her smiles and cheerful attitude but that is always how I will think of her. Peace to your whole family. Joyce Wing

I was so sad to hear of Dawn's passing. We were classmates at St. Joe and she was nice to everyone. We reconnected through Facebook and although we didn't see each other often she always gave her friendship and support. I always admired her sense of community and of course her awesome hair in high school. She really did touch a lot of lives.

Dawn I remember you bouncing thru mom and dads front door and up the stairs stopping on the step next to me and asking me if I knew who you were, and without missing a beat I said " Well I know were related cuz your shorter than me!" You were clearly a blessing not just to our family, but to everyone who had the privilege and honor to know you! My condolences to you all! RIP sweet cousin!

The world has lost another truly amazing person.. Dawn M McElveen loved and was loved by so many. She was an adventurer, dancer, dreamer,
explorer, friend, lover of life, singer and so much more! I loved talking to her, listening to her stories, commentaries, and her enthusiastically spunky nature and her great smile!

So very saddened by Dawn's passing. I knew Dawn at PHS and we used to tease her with the song "Dawn Go Away", all in good fun and she always smiled and sang with us. I just saw her at the last reunion and reminded her of that -and she laughed. Cannot believe she will not be here for the 50th. Will miss her so much.

Aunt Dawn you will be truly missed! But I know in my heart momma has done found you out of all the people in heaven! I know ya'll are catching up on old times. You are the best and loving aunt I had!
