David Washington III MT. PLEASANT -David L. Washington, III, 74, of Mount Pleasant, SC, departed this life Thursday, February 8, 2024. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024, 11:00 AM at Greater Goodwill AME Church; 2818 N Highway 17, Mount Pleasant SC 29466. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens; 1308 Mathis Ferry Road, Mount Pleasant SC 29464. Viewing will be at the funeral home today from 5:00 PM 7:00 PM. Mr. Washington is survived by his children: Felisha M. Washington-Price (Jeffrey), David A. Washington IV (Tiffany) and Brandi C. Washington (DeAntonio); his brothers Nathaniel C. Washington (Judith), Henry J. Washington (Joy), Larry L. Washington, and Wallace D. Washington (Tammy); his grandchildren Alexus C. Washington-Thompson, Cedric J. Washington-Thompson, Malinee E. Price, David A. Washington V, and Andrew C. Washington; his aunts Rosalie Simmons, Rosalee Coaxum, Marie Rouse, Alma Washington, Maggie Mazyck, Janie Hamilton, Betty Fields; his uncle Andrew Mazyck and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Henrietta Mayzck Washington, and David Washington Jr.; his sisters Ethel Mae Mayzck and Apostle Elaine Washington Green.
