David Tran Obituary

TRAN, David Entered into eternal rest Friday, July 20, 2007, Huy Hoa (David) Tran, husband of Mia Stiffler Tran. Residence, Summerville, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. David Tran are invited to attend the funeral service of the former in Northwood Assembly Church, Monday, July 23, 2007 at eleven o'clock. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from nine-thirty AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions toward the funeral expenses would be appreciated. Please mail to Northwood Assembly, 8717 Rivers Avenue, N. Charleston, SC 29406. Mr. Tran was born May 5, 1954 in Vietnam. He was a member of Northwood Assembly Church and a foreman with 3 Oaks Landscape Company. Mr. Tran was a professional chef for many years and loved building and carpentry work. Mr. Tran was a man with a Servant's Heart. He was a loving husband, father and friend who sacrificed all for those around him. He loved God, his family and friends. David's last words were I'll see you in Heaven . Surviving Mr. Tran are his wife: Mia S. Tran of Summerville; two sons: Larry S. Tran and Joseph W. Tran, also of Summerville: a brother: Phu Hoa Tran of China and his in-laws: Ray and Susie Ives of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Mrs. Tran,

This came as quite a shock to our family. Even though I did not know David personally, Chris says he cooked a mean hot dog. Please know that your family is in our prayers and if there is anything we can do please feel free to call upon us.

David was an excellent example of how God's people are supposed to do for others.
