Not sure what to say?

I just learned of the passing some years ago of David. While the Tennyson Family lived on Sullivans Island, I often visited my grandparents (V.A.and Glen Hines), went to Sullivans Island Baptist Church, and enjoyed many friendships of the kids my age who lived on the island. David was one of those friends and I have some wonderful memories from all of those wonderful years.

Since I was not able to keep up with David during our adulthood years, I do not know how he lived his life but I am sure he became a wonderful man who loved his family dearly.

David - this is for you friend:
Home is the sailor, home from the sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.

Heartfelt sympathy,

David and his brothers were a lot like the brothers I never had. We all (both families) spent some facinating hurricanes together !!

He and I only recently reconnected and that brief time has meant soooo very much.

My love and prayers are with Dulci and her family as well as with all the Tennysons.

Tis Christmas eve and I just received the e-mail news from Dulci. How very thoughtful of her to take time to do this.

We all take tomorrow for granted. Perhaps I am presuming, but I think David would like it if we all would get rid of that particular habit.

Dear Dulci

In the short time that I have gotten to known David I came to realize that he was a true gentleman in the true meaning of the word.

He always treated me with the upmost respect whenever our path met.

It was an honor to always deliver is weekly drafts and green files.

He will me miss.

Cheers>

Like a gentle breeze that brushed my cheek David and I had a connection. Though seperated by many miles he would come to me as I would come to him with a smile, a joke, or maybe a fleeting thought. I don't know what to say right now as the tears for this wonderful person make thier path down my face. I hold in my hand a gift he once gave me it is a bear claw made in silver and torqouise. He gave it to me with the thought that it would help me to be strong. Though he felt I already was he knew everyone needed a little moral support from time to time. Maybe the fact that it was sitting on my desk as I read about losing my friend was a message from him to be strong. Anyway I will miss David and don't know what to say to the others who will miss him as deeply as I will except that we have to believe that we will be together again. To David listen to the wind and know my heart. ILYFAT

My thoughts and prayers go out to Dulci and family at this time. David was a thoughtful and generous man. I remember all the small but thoughtful things that he did for people (in particular Dulci), coffee's, forgotten glasses & lunches and all the nice/kind words for family and friends. He will be missed

I had the great pleasure of working with David for over two years at Jacques Whitford Limited. David always had a kind word to say and great ideas to share. He was a conscientious employee and it is an honour to call him a colleague.

David was a man of very few words, but somehow always managed to make me laugh with the few words he did.
