David John Sharp Manning, SC - David "Johnny" John Sharp, 74, of Manning, SC, husband of the late, Mary Anne Newton Sharp, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation this evening from 5 to 7 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 29, 2018, at 3 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Rd., Summerville, SC 29485. Flowers will be accepted. Johnny was born on March 10, 1944, in Charleston, SC, son of the late David John Sharp, II and Erline Friend Lavella. He was a graduate of Bishop England High School and loved Drag Racing. Survivors include: one daughter: Chantelle White (Alton) of Goose Creek; one granddaughter: Lynette White of Goose Creek; four sisters: Kathy Dorkewitz (Henry) of Charleston, Sharon Meyer (Herman) of Charleston, Mary Ann Benoit (Jerry) of Mt. Pleasant and Cynthia Wolfe (William) of Mt. Pleasant; special friends: Joyce Moore of Summerville and Joey Smith of Summerville; and several nieces and nephews.
