Slick you will truely be missed by so many people. You were such a great person and friend to me and my family. You were my hunting partner and I will definitely miss you. One day we will meet again.

I can not let this book close without saying my heart is truley broken. I will always love Slick. Always his wife.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. David and Tanya were great friends when I would visit my Aunt and Uncle that lived across the street (Steve Goodale's parents).
My brother, Ricky Davis, was also close frends with David and Tater. He was with there with the family during this time, so sorry I could not be there also. Please know the family has been in my thoughts and prayers!

My heart and prayers are with the Roberson family and friends. Slick was one of my Daddy’s (Ricky) best friends and a very dear friend of the family. Not having been around much in the recent years, I still know he will be missed and there will always be a special laugh missing in the crowd. Even after 11 years, everyday is as hard as the first when I lost my father. There are two things that keep me going. One is knowing that I have one very special angel above and the other is that we will meet again one day. Please stay strong during this heartbreaking time. A special note to my Lil’ Bro (David Jr.)....I am here for you if you need anything! Michelle, be strong my friend! Keep him alive through your daily lives. We will forever miss him!

Slick was the best friend I ever had and now he is gone.My heart aches for him.I will truly greive for some time to come.Slick will forever be in the hearts of many as many loved him very much.It gives me comfort to know that GOD will take very good care of him until we meet again.As for now I have more tears to let go. Words cannot express the feeling inside when someone you care about passes on.I cant imagine how it feels for the ones closest to Slick. He will travel with me in my memories for I will miss him greatly for my friend has traveled on.With time my heart will heal, but for now I will charish the good times I had with him. To Tater and family if there is anything I can do just let me know.

Our prayers are with ALL of Big David's family and friends. Roger and I are so happy that our two beautiful granddaughters had their Papa Slick for the time they did. Hannah and Emma will miss him for a lifetime but will hold him forever in their hearts. What lucky little girls to have had such a grandfather!
