Thank you for your service. My great great grandfather was Loammi Dunwoody. I am the granddaughter of Adella (Dunwoody) Gilbert Mathias. I regret that I was not able to pay respects in person on behalf of my Dunwoody ancestors.

May I offer my thoughts and prayers to Lydia and the entire Riggs Family on the recent loss of Dave, a beloved husband and father and wonderful neighbor. I will miss his smile and "good morning" on days as he was returning from his morning walk and I was leaving for work. Dave was a kind-hearted soul, giving, and honorable person. He was a true 'gentleman'. I will miss him.

I would like to thank Col. Riggs for his service to our country, willingly and selfishly serving during two wars. The family remains in our thoughts and prayers. He was a real patriot.

I served under Col Riggs at FT Jackson after my return from overseas duty. A fine officer and a fine gentleman.
God's Blessings be with this family
