David was a teammate of mine at Fort Johnson. He was a courageous person and well respected as a leader.

So sad to hear of David's passing. He is a part of many fond memories of growing up at FJHS, cheering David on as he played sports and having him as a kind friend. Rest in Peace. David.

So sad to hear this news. David will always be remembered as a kind and caring friend to me and Buddy. Loved watching them play sports together in high school. Praying for your family to have peace and comfort.

Wish so bad that I could make it to join in celebrating David's life. I always loved visiting my uncle, aunt and cousins in Charleston...memories of learning to water ski, "trying to surf", "half-rubber", "half-ball" or whatever it was called (rubber ball cut in half and use a broom stick for a bat) - if my memory is correct, getting fresh shrimp, boiled peanuts, aunt Evelyn's huge pancakes, etc. Praying God's peace, presence, and comfort during this time for family and friends! Love and prayers, Mark and Debbie Reich (and family)

Oh my goodness. I love Cousin David. He was always such a delight to be around. I will never forget that every time we would visit he would ask my Daddy if I could go out with him and his girlfriend. Of course my Daddy was protective of his baby girl and always said no. I will miss David so much and I pray for comfort for Danny and Virgil and family. All my love and prayers pour out! Love you Danny and Virgil!

Dear Susan, Julie and Vanessa,
I have many good memories of living "around the bend" from y´all in Whitehouse Plantation on James Island.
