I was so sorry to hear of David's passing. I was raised on Calvert St. David and I went to Chicora together and was in Ms. Goodwin's class two years 6th and 7th. David was always such a good friend and a great person and will be missed.

Dear Cheryl and family. I just read of davids passing. I wanted to let you know that I have fond memories of David from our younger days at Chicora Graded School. I remember his beautiful voice and his sports abilities. He gave me his basketball award and I still have it to this day. I tried returning it years later when my husband and ran into him at a beach cookout but he said he wanted me to keep it. He was a very kind and great guy. Those were some great childhood memories and he will be missed. Hope you and your family are doing well. He will be in my prayers and always a special part of my life. Sincerely. Dixie Wilson
