David McFadden Obituary

LOWELL -- David J. "Morgan" McFadden, 49, of Lowell, a former standout boxer, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell.

He was born in Lowell, Sept. 19, 1956, son of the late Thomas H. McFadden, Jr. and Mary L. (Manning) McFadden. He attended Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School.

In 1975 and 1976, Mr. McFadden was the New England Golden Gloves Light Heavyweight Champion. In recent years, he was an official for amateur boxing events in Lowell.

Mr. McFadden was the former owner of Mill City Forms Co.

He is survived by a daughter, Shalyn McFadden, a senior student at Greater Lowell Regional High School, of Lowell; Renee L. (Laflamme) McFadden of Lowell; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, M. Sheila and Charles E. Carney of Lowell, Joanne and Richard P. Tellier of Pelham, and Kelli Longtin and her companion, Scott McClory of Chelmsford; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Thomas H. McFadden III of Lowell and Paul J. and Kimberly McFadden of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews;

He also leaves his longtime companion, Heidi Gauthier and her children, Craig, Nikita and Robert Gauthier, all of Lowell; and many close friends.
