Missing my visits and talking about educational issues... memories are forever. Rest in peace!!

Mr. Mack was one of the kindest gentle souls that I have ever met. May his soul be at peace in the Lord!

A bright light has left this world. I.had the privilege to know both David and his father, and I knew them both to be wise, kind, and strong men who did more than their share to make their community a better place.
I am sad that our paths won´t cross again, but celebrate his ultimate victory.

Mr. Mack was the area superintendent while I taught at Sanders-Clyde Elementary School for over a decade. His leadership along with his wife's counsel in mathematics forged a team. It was a bond that improved the teaching of educators and advanced the learning of so many children attending the Charleston County School District.

My prayers are with you and your family

I had the privilege of working as a teacher and principal´s designee in an alternative school in District 20 from 1974-1984. Superintendent Mack supported the school, teachers and me. His kindness, ability, and follow through were truly appreciated. I have many fond memories of our conversations when I picked up our paychecks in his office every other week. I know his family has so many more wonderful memories. I pray those memories will bring you comfort in the coming days. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I remember Mr. Mack being a great teacher and gentle giant, very soft spoken. Mr. Mack was a great inspiration to me. May God bless his soul.
