David Jackson Obituary

Pop, you will forever be missed by me. You have taught me from wrong to right and how to enjoy every moment possible. I will cherish the many years that you and I have hunted together. It will be hard come Aug. 15 to not have you with me but I will always know that you will be looking after all of us. I also know that my girls will also cherish the time they were able to spend with you. Please tell daddy I love him and I will miss both of you very much. Thank you both for everything you have ever done or taught me. The Lord has taken an amazing man you always was friendly and kind to whoever came by. I love you papa.

Uncle David always made you feel special. Always that beautiful smile. Uncle David will always be in our hearts. Love to all. Lucky

The Lord called a good man home. David has two new legs now! I will keep the family in my prayers.

So sorry for your loss...I looked every time I passed his house to see if he was sitting on porch and if so I would blow the horn, of course, he didn't know who it was...may he RIP...

I might not have gotten to grow up knowing Papa Jackson but when when I showed up on his doorstep years later, he knew exactly who I was. He looked at me with such love in his eyes and it was as if I had never been away. It was a moment that I will never forget. I am blessed to have gotten to know him and my Jackson family. I will think of him everyday but even more as my youngest daughter has his birthday. Thank you Papa Jackson for being such a wonderful special person. Love you.

Papa David you will surely be missed. I enjoyed listening to the stories you would tell us about daddy and the good ole days. I can surely say God has gained another Angel, Give mom and dad a big hug for me in heaven Love you , Paula Jean
