David J Morris, Sr.
N. Charleston - David "Jimmy" James Morris, Sr., 89, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Jean Davis Morris entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 16, 2026. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.
Jimmy was born November 12, 1936 in Lake City, South Carolina, son of the late Daniel David Morris and the late Lucille Melton Morris. He was a retired accountant, commercial property owner and avid eBay seller. He worked hard to retire early to travel. He and his wife drove all over the country at least once a year with Las Vegas as their favorite destination. He was a wonderful family man and a good friend to many.
His final wish was to be cremated with no service. A celebration of life will take place in the near future.
In addition to his wife of 64 years, he is survived by David James Morris, Jr. (son), Wendy Caroline Morris Hancock (daughter), Brittany Taylor Morris Dunphy, Katherine Marie Fairfull, Mary Jane Fairfull, Lila Grace Fairfull, David James Fairfull, and William Thompson Fairfull (grandchildren) Noah James Dunphy and Riley Reese Dunphy (great grandchildren)
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Cecil Moncrief Morris and Jerry Douglas Morris.
