Grand Pierre,
The name you wanted to be called, because "Grandad" seemed ancient. Your annual summer trips driving to the Cape in your (to a child, at the time) such fancy and shiny cars, bringing pounds and pounds of lobsters and steamers, like a summertime Santa Claus, were the best.
Hearing your stories of traveling the world and partaking in the most amazing things inspired me and I loved being able to tell you about some of my international adventures, because you got it.
Love you and rest well.
