Dear Mrs . Cone, Lindsie, and all family memebers , I am so sorry for your loss . Mr. Cone or (Mr.Candy Man) as the Children called him at church was so special to me , I remember him teaching my Sunday school class too , I remember coming to help cut grass at the Cones house and riding the riding mower. I think that may have been the first time I rode a riding mower too. Mr. Cone was such a blessing to me , and always had a smile that radiated the Love of our Lord . My Prayers and thoughts are with you , and I know that Mr Cone is enjoying worshiping and Dancing for the Lord, and giving out Candy in Heaven if there is Candy there. God bless you with peace and comfort at this difficult time.

We will surely miss Pop Pop Cone. I'll never forget when Trey and Brandon were just little guys, they would want to go to "Cones" house to watch his elaborate train set. He made an ingraved wood step stool for Trey that will forever be priceless to us. Mr.Cone's gentle nature always warmed the atmosphere at holiday gatherings and they won't be the same without him. We have to find comfort for our sadness in knowing that he is in a much better place. Love and prayers to all, Lisa and family(Brian,Trey and Brandon) 05/02/05
