Dave Prosser Obituary

Dave Prosser Moncks Corner - David H. "Dave" Prosser, 73, of Moncks Corner, SC, a retired underwriter for the Hartford Insurance Company, died Saturday morning in a North Charleston hospital. His memorial service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday afternoon, April 25, 2018, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Changed Lives Ministry, 470 Reid Hill Rd., Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Mr. Prosser was born October 23, 1944, in Wichita Falls, TX, a son of Harvey Prosser and Florence Partridge Prosser. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Crowfield Baptist Church. He formerly worked as a policy developer for the Housing Authority Insurance Group in Connecticut, and also volunteered with the Changed Lives Ministry. Mr. Prosser enjoyed working on the computer, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Donna Jean Barrett Prosser; two sons, Troy A. Prosser, Sr., of Fountain Inn, SC, and James S. Prosser of Athens, GA; a sister, Carolynn DePaul, of Columbus, IN; a brother, Paul Prosser, of Vienna, GA; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
