Darrell Morrison JAMES ISLAND - Darrell Wendell "De-Rail" Morrison, 58, of James Island, passed away July 20, 2013. Born in Athens, GA, he was the son of Jack and Jean Bracewell and husband to Cindy Robinson Morrison. He graduated from James Island High School and worked as a welder/inspector for the Charleston Naval Shipyard until its closing. "De-Rail" was a member of James Island Lodge No. 396. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, enjoyed being outdoors on the water and NASCAR. He is survived by his wife of thirty nine years, Cindy R. Morrison; two daughters, Mandi Butler and husband Robbie of Wadmalaw Island and Becky Morrison of James Island; grandchildren, Ryland and Brady Butler; four siblings, Debbie Wilson of Charleston, Norman Morrison of James Island, Beth Richards and husband Johnny of Charleston and Jack "Charlie" Bracewell and wife Eren of Summerville. Mr. Morrison is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, James Island Chapel.
