I miss you guys so much

Dan was full of life and had such a tremendous spirit. He always said hi with a smile on his face and truly cared for those around him. Dan was one of the nicest people I have ever met. The world has lost a very special person, but he is one that will never ever be forgotten. I am thankful to have known this one-of-a-kind guy and know that he is an angel above us all. Your family is in my prayers. Know that God will work through you and give you strength in this time of grieving. Your son was a gift and touched everyone who knew him. Until I see you again, Dan, know that you are awesome. I'll miss you.

Goodbye
The trees are saying their goodbyes
the clouds are sad and grey.
The winds now echo lonely cries
the end of yesterday.
The river slows to peacefully mourn
the flower bows her head.
The sky that sang when life was born
grows dark now that it's dead.
The earth that held the gentle feet
of children side by side.
The stars that rose to light the street
with every tear I've cried.
The air that filled my beating heart
with the whisper of all that's true.
The world together, now apart
the pain of missing you.

Dan was a very cool guy who will definately be missed next year on campus. He was always a friendly, smiling face, whether he was competing with us freshman guys on the basketball court or socializing in a lounge with friends. Dan, thank you for being a good friend! God Bless! Dan's family, may God give you the strength to help you through this time!

I know there is little anyone can say to ease the hurt at this point. I lost my sister this last year, and I can tell you that eventualy the pain of the loss fades away, and the good memories take over. I offer my condolences, as many will, and taking this comfort from others really helps. I am sorry that you have to bear this loss, and you are in the thoughts and prayers of many.
