Daniel Simmons Obituary

Daniel Lester Simmons, Sr. MONCKS CORNER - Daniel Lester Simmons, Sr., 63, of Moncks Corner, passed away July 13 in Charleston. Daniel worked at South Eastern Freight Lines for 20 years and served in the United States Army. Daniel was the son of the late Thurman and Mary Simmons. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Simmons of Moncks Corner; daughter, Mary Ann Alexander and husband, Tony Alexander of Moncks Corner; son, Daniel Simmons, Jr., and wife, Stacey Simmons, of Moncks Corner; and son, Jason Christmas, and wife, Ivory Christmas, of Moncks Corner; grandchildren, Michael Alexander, and wife, Ashley Alexander, Victoria Alexander, Zora Alexander and great-grandson, Blake. He is also survived by sister, Connie Davis; brothers, Kenny Simmons and James Scott. Services will be Friday, July 21 at 3:00 p.m. at Simplicity, 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson.
