Daniel Lassiter Obituary

LASSITER, Daniel Daniel Lawrence Lassiter, LCDR, USN Retired, a native of Charleston, SC and 33 year resident of San Jose, CA entered into rest on Dec. 9, 2005 at the age of 88 years. Daniel was preceded in death by his loving wife Althea of 64 yrs. He will be deeply missed by his sons; Ronald, Bruce, Terry, Tom, and daughter; Karyn Russell-Dionne, her husband Jeff Dionne, grandchildren; Kristan, Suzanne, Stephanie, Sarah, Daniel and great-grandson Tyler. He proudly served his country for 32 yrs. In 1936 he enlisted in the Navy serving in WWII in the Pacific Theater and was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. He retired from the Naval service in 1968. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005 from 4 until 8 PM at Darling & Fischer Campbell Memorial Chapel with the Funeral services at 7 PM.
