Daniel (Big "D") Gathers Charleston - The relatives and friends of Mr. Daniel (Big "D") Gathers are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service 12:00 NOON, Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Johns Island Church of Christ, 2850 Murraywood Road, Johns Island, SC 29455. Interment - Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC. A public viewing will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the mortuary. Mr. Gathers leaves to cherish his devoted wife, Kaffie M. Redden Gathers; sons, Glenwood (Tracy) Redden, and Dr. Shawn (Michelle) Gathers; grandchildren, Brionna Murray, Leslie Redden, and London Gathers; great-grandchildren, Kaiser Redden and Amya; siblings, Michael (Helen) Steven, Sandra Gathers, Kenneth Gathers, Andrea (Rondald, Sr.) Dickerson, Vera (the late Carl) Brown, Brenda (Allen) Jenkins, Ronald Gathers, Maurice (Violet) Washington, and Angela (Ronald, Sr.) Fuller; special friend, Vanya Steward; travel club; and a host of other relatives and friends.
