DANIEL EARP Obituary

DANIEL JAMES EARP, 26, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015. He was born March 19, 1989, in Huntington, W.Va., the son of Charles M. Earp (Molly) of Lavalette, W.Va., and Nancy L. Grizzell Nicholson of Huntington, W.Va. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carroll M. and Clyda Hager Earp. He was a construction worker at Earp Construction and Excavating Co. and a member of Florence Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife, Mendy Adkins Earp, and daughter, Danya Paige Earp, both of Wayne, W.Va; maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Beth Grizzell of Milton, W.Va; brother, Richard L. Thomas III of Pittsburgh, Pa.; several aunts, uncles, stepbrothers, sisters, cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted noon Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va., with Rev. John Fry officiating and providing music will be Jerry Hensley. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, W.Va. Those serving as pallbearers are Joey Ruggles, Jeff Rowe, Scott Johnson, Parker Earp, Jason Mills and Marion Mills. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015, at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va., near Barboursville.
