Mrs. Doherty, Danny, Jill, Mark & Mike,

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Doherty's passing. Please accept the Wolfe Family's condolences.

Having lived next to and grown up with your family, I know what a wonderful man he was.

In addition to being a great neighbor & role model, he is the main reason that I enjoy my two main hobbies- Golf and Hockey. I am a huge hockey fan because of the Doherty Family, especially Mr. Doherty. I have such wonderful memories of playing hockey in your driveway (we marked up the garage door, but, I never remember him complaining). Also, creating a very small "golf course" around your yard and getting to use some old clubs of his.. What Fun!!--- I did get my only ever hole in one in the side of your yard !! Although I am still terrible at golf, I am thankful that I developed a love for the game!!

I look back and realize just how lucky I am to have grown up next door to a wonderful family, led by a great man!

You all will be in my families thoughts prayers.

Chuck
