Daniel Carretta Obituary

I remenber when Cousin Danny was about 80 years old and they sent me a news clipping where he had gotten a hole in one. He was always a great athlete.

Thinking of Danny today and if course Nancy as well!

Mr. Carrerta always had a smile on his face, and especially lite up when he spoke of his wife, Nancy. He was a wonderful man and I am so lucky to have met him. I will always remember you, Mr Carretta.

Nancy, I was so shocked to hear yesterday at Mass that Dan had passed away. Those things I remember most about him were that he was ALWAYS respectful when I worked at the racquet club and, of course, you two riding your bicycle built for 2...a good man who always had a smile. May he rest in peace. I know he will be missed by all.

Nancy, so sorry to hear about Dan's passing. Have such fond memories of you both, along with your kids, growing up on Long Island. Our heartfelt sympathy.

Dan called on me any my father in the 60's and 70's in the advertising speciality business I was just starting out and he had a lasting impact. Such a knowledgable and caring gentleman. I looked forward to his and Nancy's visits to New Orleans. He was a giant in our industry and I find myself still quoting him. Prayers for him and Nancy

It was with great sadness that I read Mr. Carretta's obituary this morning. Mr. Carretta was truly one of the nicest and most genuine people I ever met. It was a pleasure to have him as a customer at R and M Sporting Goods for many years. I hope you all know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of more people than you know.

So sorry to hear of Mr Carretta's passing. It was a pleasure to have known him and his family. I never knew he and Nancy were still living at Seabrook. Nancy, my sincere condolences. I am sad to miss the services as I am out of town, would have loved to visit with all of you, as you were a good part of my life back in the Canterbury days. Please know that my prayers are with all of you.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I met Mr Carretta in the late 80's in Nashville he had such a strong influence on my career and think of him often.
