LITTLE, Daisy ST. GEORGE - Daisy Shipp Little, 83, wife of Bill Little, of 3780 Highway 78, Dorchester died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at her residence. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday evening followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Wash Belangia officiating at BRYANT FUNERAL HOME IN ST. GEORGE. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Evington United Methodist Church, Evington, VA. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Mrs. Little was born on June 14, 1924 in Brookneal, Virginia a daughter of the late David Lee and Beulah Mae Seamster Shipp. She will always be remembered for her love of cooking and the love she gave to her family, friends and anyone else she came in contact with. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bill Little; sons, James L. (Rita) Little, Mark Little, both of Dorchester, William L. (Judy) Little, of Lynchburg, VA; a daughter, Barbara L. (Donald) Garraghty, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and she was Granny to four grandchildren; Van Garraghty, Virginia Beach, VA, Brent Garraghty, Summerville, SC, Wanda Little and Susan Little Jenkins both of Lynchburg, VA and nine great-grandchildren.
