D'Wayne Armitage Obituary

ARMITAGE, D'Wayne D'Wayne Arlen Armitage, 62, of Ladson, SC, husband of Conchetta Verdi Armitage, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at a Charleston hospital. Graveside services will be held Tuesday afternoon, April 8, 2008 at one-thirty o'clock at Beaufort National Cemetery. Friends may call at PARKS FUNERAL HOME Monday evening from six until eight o'clock. Mr. Armitage was born July 27, 1945 in Quincy, MA, a son of Ralph B. Armitage and Adelaide Marrissey Armitage. He served and retired from the US Air Force where he held the rank of Senior Master Sergeant with the Security Police. He received a Masters degree and Ph-D in Criminal Justice. Survivors include his wife, Conchetta Armitage of Ladson; three daughters, Christina Read of Ladson, Concetta Albertine of Summerville and Karen Cook of Fairfax, VA; one son, William A Wright of New Hampshire; two brothers, Ralph Armitage of Tewksbury, MA and Bobby Armitage of Lansing, MI and seven grandchildren.
