Cynthia Tetley-Nash Obituary

Cynthia Kathleen Tetley-Nash MT. PLEASANT - Dr. Cynthia Kathleen Tetley-Nash, aged 72, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Paul S. Nash. Her departure leaves a profound void in the lives of the many who loved her. Cynthia was born on December 8, 1952 in Corona, California. She earned a PhD and dedicated over 25 years of her life to the field of clinical psychology, working primarily with married couples. Her commitment to enhancing the well-being of others, and helping them strengthen their relationships, was evident both within and outside her clinical practice. She had a deep and abiding Christian faith that informed the most significant aspects of her life, infused her clinical practice, and was evident to and touched many of her friends and family. She was the cherished mother to her two children, Courtney Therien of Johns Island, South Carolina, and Justin Tetley Nash (wife Meghan Nash) of Glendora, California. Her love, warmth and guidance will be deeply missed by them, as will the special bond she shared with her beloved grandchildren, Abigail and Jack Nash. Cynthia is also survived by her brother, Thomas Tetley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was predeceased by her parents and her son-in-law, David Therien. I will remember Cynthia always. She has been the most gracious, sweet, gentle, kind and insightful follower of Christ that I have known. Cynthia had a glint in her eye, a soft giggle on her lips and a heart always bent before Christ Jesus. Well done Good and Faithful Servant - you have entered into the Joy of your Master.
