Cynthia Silver Obituary

The past years I have tried to contact Cyndy, but all the numbers I found led to dead ends. Once again, I typed in her name and my heart fell when I saw her obituary. Cyndy and I met in seventh grade and were attached at the hip until I moved to Tucson after our sophomore year at Fairfax High. Nelson, we actually met one time when I went to Charleston with Cyndy. You set me up with one of your friends and we all went to the drive in, but I don't think you and Cyndy saw much of the movie! Thank you all for sharing the video. It was obvious that Cyndy enjoyed life and loved her family very much. There is a picture in the video where Cyndy is sitting in front of her birthday cake....well I happen to be the girl standing behind her! Cyndy was the smart one, loved the beach, was crazy about listening to music and a great friend! My best to Mrs. Holcomb - thanks for putting up with all Cyndy and my sleepovers and most likely our loud Beatle music! I am sure you all have special memories, hang on to all of them because memories turn in to treasures! My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sonia Dockins Vernon

Was sad to hear about Cindy's passing. I was a friend of hers in high school. Always remember her smile and we always had fun together. My condolences to her family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I was searching for Cyndy for our next high school reunion and discovered her recent obituary. She was such a sweet and pretty classmate. I have fond memories of school with her. We will remember her at the reunion. May you feel God's support as you grieve her passing and continue your journey on this side until you join her.
