Cynthia Mowry Obituary

Cynthia Grace Mowry N. Charleston - Cynthia Grace Mowry (nee Billmyer), 68, of North Charleston, former resident of Baltimore, MD, beloved wife of the late Norman Ross Gienow, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Survivors include: devoted brother: William E. "Bill" Billmyer (Dianna); beloved aunt of Dawn Tolle, Albert Billmyer, Jennifer Wilkins; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents: Albert and Marie Billmyer; sisters: Diane Phillips and Betty Diggs; brother, George Billmyer. She started her career at JC Penney 40 years ago in Baltimore, MD. She retired as store manager in Charleston, SC in 2015 after 17 years. She was a store manager in Dyersburg, TN, served in a management capacity in various stores as well as District Staff out of Alexandria, VA. Cindy was loved and respected by staff. She will be dearly missed by family, the yahoo's: Jeanne, Susan and Kathy. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Cindy's name to American Breast Cancer Association, 113 Redbud Lane, Augusta, GA 30907.
