Cynthia A. Helmer JACKSONVILLE, FL - Cynthia A. Helmer, age 54 of Jacksonville, FL died Thursday August 2, 2012 in Mount Pleasant, SC. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Helmer. Cynthia is survived by her mother, Lorraine C. Helmer of Jacksonville and her brother Joseph L. (Jacqualine) Helmer of Mount Pleasant, SC. Cynthia was born September 23, 1957 in Staten Island, NY. She attended New Dorp High School. While a resident of NY she worked for the Law Firm of Sullivan & Cromwell and American Express Corporation. Upon moving to Jacksonville, FL she was employed by the United States Postal Service. The family will receive friends Monday August 6, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Corey - Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Jacksonville. A private graveside service will be held at the Ogilvie Cemetery. lorraine i was shocked to hear about the passing of cindy. she was a great employee and a good friend. remember the mustang i bought from her back in the early 80's. what a great automobile my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. take care of yourselves.
