Cynthia Ferguson Obituary

Cynthia "Cis" Ferguson CHARLESTON - Cynthia "Cis" Ferguson passed away on February 28, 2018 in Charleston, SC at the age of 57. She is formerly of Ohio, where she graduated from West Carrollton High School, and later moved to Austin, TX, and then to Charleston, SC. She was admired and will be greatly missed by her many friends and by all at the Nelson Mullins law firm where she worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant. She brought with her an excellence and dedication to her work and to her colleagues who enjoyed her kind, gentle spirit that she bestowed on everyone. Dedicated to her faith, her family, and friends, all who knew Cis were blessed to learn valuable lessons from her, and she was loved by all. We will miss her beautiful smile and warm conversations, but we know Cis will be busy dancing, playing music, riding horses, and spending time with her family and friends who have been waiting for her. Cis was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Margaret (Muggs) Ferguson, her brother Mark, and her nephew Travis. She is survived by her nephew Todd, his wife Melissa, and their daughter Taylor along with numerous friends and cousins. Donations in Cis's honor can be made to Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Rd, Charleston, SC 29412. Visit our guestbook at www.legacy.com/obituaries/ charleston

You were quite the roller skater and horse woman. And you were kind to me while trying to find your self.

I was a friend and neighbor to Cissy growing up in Singing Hills, West Carrollton. She was always beautiful inside and out. She chose to live a joyful life and I am rejoicing that she is in heaven now. God's blessings to all who knew and loved her.

I am sick at heart. Cis was one of my very best friends from 2nd grade through most of elementary, Jr and High school, and I loved being connected with her again. She loved Dr. Zhivago and Michael Jackson music back in the day and we had so much fun writing our "books" and playing with the horse statues. We had our disagreements as teens are wont to do, but we resolved things about a year after Muggs' death at and through MYF. My dear friend, I can't believe you are gone!
