Courtney Linn Obituary

We can only hope that when we pass, that we are remembered as fondly as Courtney is. I remember her smiling with bouncy hair that matched her fun personality. She would've made a great caretaker and nurse.

Whenever I hear Sheryl Crow or Norah Jones I think of Courtney. Miss you Courtney.

On Sunday, 9/23 I was in the St. Louis airport. A beautiful young woman sat a few seats from me in obvious distress. When I went to comfort her I learned of her friend Courtney's sudden passing. I learned some wonderful things about Courtney in those minutes, and my heart was deeply touched by the memories that were shared. I'm sorry to say I did not get this lady's name, but wanted her to know that I have upheld her, and Courtney's family in prayer. How fortunate all of you are to have had such a person in your lives. May God's peace, which passes all understanding, be with you now and always.

I will miss you deeply. My memories of us I will hold dear to my heart. I love you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I regret that I hadn't seen Courtney in many years. I remember playing together when we were just kids.I was shocked to hear of her passing. It seems she has left quite a legacy. I'll be praying for you and your family during this difficult time.

Courtney was one of my best friends ever! There are not many memories without her. Courtney made everything an adventure in her own way. I feel extremely priviledged to have known her for over half my life. She was the sister I never had, and the friend I always wanted. I feel like she's taking a little piece of me away with her, but at the same time I am taking a piece of her with me and I will cherish it always. I love you Courtney, God be with you. To RJ, Mr. Linn, Ms. Linn, and Holly, I'm so sorry and love you all. Always remember her beautiful smile and lovely eyes.

In Courtney's own words, "live life one day at a time and enjoy it one moment at a time." I will always remember that advice and will miss your kind nature.

I would life to offer my sympathy to Courtney's family and all of her freinds.I last seen Courtney at our high school reunion last year. Where we all laughed remembering our high schools days. In our time of sadness it helps to remember the good times we all had, the smiling face we all knew, and to think of all the lives God allowed her to bless.

Courtney's beautiful smile and upbeat personality will be so greatly missed. I was so glad to have provided the little help that I could with her dreams of becoming a nurse. Rest in peace Courtney.

I would like to offer my condolences to Courtney's family and friends. I hadn't seen Courtney much since high school but I had the privilege of seeing her again at the reunion last year. She was always such a positive person with the greatest smile! My heart is heavy today after learning of her passing. May God be with all of you during this time.

I am at a loss. Courtney was put here with all of us to show us how to live. I can only remeber her always laughing and giving you an off the wall look when you were not laughing with her. Because to her laughing and smiling was like breathing. Most of my memories of Court ( as we called her growing up)was her and Andrea they where two peas in a pod frick and frack always. To Courts family , Thank you for giving her to us and for sharing her. The impression she left in the lives of those she touched will live on and be passed on.

It is with such a heavy heart that I sign this. My prayers are with Courtneys family and friends. I will never forget how Coutney made everyone laugh or how she always seemed to be smiling. God now has one amazing angel.

I was very shocked to hear what had happened to Courtney. I was blessed to have her in one of my nursing classes. I know that she will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family.

Anyone that knows Courtney knows what a postive and happy person she was. She had a way of bringing the sunshine into a room and making you feel good about yourself. I am so sorry to hear of Courtney's passing! I remember her happy smile and bright eyes making the halls of Roper a happier place! I know how excited she was to have accomplished so much and she was looking forward to a bright future! She will be dearly missed!

I was in class with Courtney over the summer. She was always fun to be around and willing to help others in any way she could. She was very bright, caring and always had a positive attitude. I didn't know Courtney for very long, but I am glad I had the opportunity to share some of my days with her. The medical community will certainly miss having a nurse like Courtney.

We miss you greatly! I remember the stories of you getting the new dog, the dog park and meeting our neighbors, helping to find a reliable vehicle, the Christmas Party w/ Frankies and the fun times we had singing/dancing. We know God had a better plan for you and you are in good hands. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. RJ - if there is anything we can do to help out or just a shoulder to cry on you know where to find us.

To All Courtney's Family,

I was shocked to hear this awful news. Everyone knows that Courtney and I had our differences but none of that matters. I loved Courtney and we had great times together. We had more fun than two people should be allowed to have. My heart goes out to all of you and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Courtney was funny and animated and she had a melodius singing voice if you didnt know. She and my daughter were friends for many years and I especially remember when I first met her at the Edisto River when we played cards on the porch in the rain, listened to music, talked and laughed a lot. My sympathies to Beth, RJ, her siblings and relatives. Also, to her many friends. I know her work and school mates enjoyed her smile, bright eyes, wild locks and lightheartedness. Courtney was on her way to a happy future but God's plan is wiser than ours and he must have needed her for his own. Pray for understanding and acceptance. Love and blessings...

When receiving the call about Courtney last night it was an absolute shock. We remember her as the fun, loving, happy go lucky individual. She always had a smile and was fun to be around. Even when she was down at her lowest, she always had a positive attitude. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends in your time of grief. She was so kind and gentle. Just a sweet Angel. I remember her curly blond hair and her dimples and always a smile on her face. She was always so chipper each day, when I came to work at IHG. I worked with Courtney at IHG for a short time. The time I did get to know her she was as sweet as she could be. Always willing to help me as a new Agent. I am sadden that this loving person is now gone from this world. There should be more people like her.
