Corrie Stewart Obituary

Corrie Mae Young Stewart FLORENCE - Corrie Mae Young Stewart died Friday, February 11, 2011, at McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 13, 2011, in Pisgah United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence, 3031 Hoffmeyer Road. She was born in Charlotte, NC, a daughter of the late Jesse Floyd and Mary Ellen Pierce Young, and was raised in Darlington, SC. She was the widow of Frank Toland Stewart. Mrs. Stewart resided in Florence for most of her life and was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Survivors are two daughters, Marsha S. (Richard) Bryant of Florence and Linda Cecile Gibson of Charleston; three grandsons, Tony Wayne (Sharon) Gibson, Richard Hartwell (Heather) Bryant, III, and Stewart Alexander Bryant, all of Florence; and three great-grandsons, Price Toland Gibson, John William Gibson, and Richard Hartwell Bryant, IV. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pisgah United Methodist Church, 621 N. Ebenezer Rd., Florence, SC 29501; or McLeod Hospice House, c/o McLeod Foundation, P. O.
