Cornelia Adeline Braecklein Summerville - Cornelia Adeline "Addie" Braecklein, 81, of Summerville, SC, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021. Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 12 o'clock noon in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 o'clock until the time of service in the Parlor. Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation by visiting www.kidney.org. Adeline was born November 28, 1939 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late Cornell Logan Scott and late Ressie Wilson Berg Scott. She worked in banking and retired as a Head Teller at National Bank of South Carolina. She loved to hang out with her best friends and attending church services. Addie enjoyed various sporting events, especially when her grandkids were playing. Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly A. Pierce (Jim) and Tonya Gallardo (Robert), both of Summerville, SC; stepsons, William Braecklein, Jr. (Ellen) of Johns Island and Tracy Braecklein (Linda) of Walterboro, SC; step-daughters, Susan Matson (Harry) of James Island, SC, Jaynean Thomas (Mark) of Etowah, NC, Amy Davis (Darron) of Walterboro, SC, and Melissa Hall (Russell) also of Walterboro, SC; twenty-four grandchildren; and forty-eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, William L. Braecklein, Sr.; sister, Ann Hilton; brother, John Berg; and a grandson, Christopher Pierce. She was loved and will be missed by all.
