Constance Perkins Obituary

Constance Perkins JAMES ISLAND - Constance "Connie" Perkins, of James Island, SC, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2025. She was 74 years old and born on April 20, 1951, in Johnsonville, SC. She was the wife of Andrew "Andy" C. Perkins, Jr. They were married for 52 years. She was retired from the Charleston County Health Department, where she was a dental assistant. She is survived by four sisters, Becky Kassis (Raymond), Julie Apperman, Debra Carter, and Johnnie Arnone; two brothers, Norman Jones (Dixie) and Sammy Jones (Cheryl); and many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. Constance will be sadly missed by Andy. She was a wonderful country cook, travel partner, and best friend. She loved her creekside home on James Island and her lakeside home on Lake Marion, and loved her dog, Bonnie. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 3pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation - James Island.
