Remembering Collin on this mournful date. After attending Collin's beautiful celebration of his remarkable life, I regretted not knowing him as a man. I knew him as a child and he was a special boy. A voice came in my mind and said he was always a man with his strength, incredible mind and unimaginable kindness to all. Collin was confident, but humble. He protected his mother, but never controlling. Collin did everything beautifully. As I watched him jump backwards into the seas, surfing among the waves with his masculine grace and a smile Robert Redford would even long for, he remained modest. Collin was not of this world. He much too extraordinary.
I thank God for Collin. To even have the honor of meeting him, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, God loves me.
Thank you, Elaine for sharing your precious son with us. I love you.

Collin,
We met in 2012 when i started working at Noisy Oyster with you.... The adventure really all started from that place on the Charleston Market where we served customers off cruise boats all the time! The relationship really grew stronger outside of the work hours though on our skate rides back to the house.
Skateboarding was our connection & our love for taste in music. Those 2 things are very powerful, and I'm blessed that those elements brought me to meet you brother. We cried, laughed, hugged, and experienced the loss of another close friend Nicole Miller together from our Noisy family.
Collin, that laugh was contagious man! Anytime you laughed, I had to laugh just because that was the joy you portrayed toward everything. I look forward to hitting many parking garages up in heaven with you when I get there to join you in praise/ and worship of our heavenly father.
Best Regards,
Sue Ellen

Having the privilege to be around Collin while he was a child, it was apparent he was precocious and larger than life. Collin owned the world "beautiful" as he displayed beauty in everyway. My feelings of dispear and anger can never erase that magnificent spark he shared to this world.
My heart is sick for Laine and Doug. I will forever pray for them and all the hearts that are shattered.
What a Man.

I worked with Collin for the last three years as my Mate on the charter boat Laine. Collin was always smiling and helpful to everyone. He had quite a knowledge of Charleston pointing out buildings and the history of places and events that occurred in past times.
I will miss him dearly and he will never be forgotten.
Collin treated myself and my wife as extended family and likewise we treated him like a son. Anytime we parted we would say to each other, "LOVE YOU MAN."
May God bless Collin
