Colleen Wilczewski Brown LADSON - Colleen Wilczewski Brown, 71, of Ladson, South Carolina, wife of Ronald L. Brown, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 23, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Her funeral service will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, in the West Ashley Chapel at 11:00 am. Colleen was born September 15, 1951, in Sioux City, Iowa, daughter of the late Herman Jerome Wilczewski and Dorothy Mathewes Wilczewski. She was Catholic and a member of Nativity Church on James Island. Colleen dearly loved all of her friends and family. She was a big fan of driver Tony Stewart and watching NASCAR races. She loved to travel with her favorite being a cruise to the Bahamas. She was a fan of the Carolina Gamecocks and of country music. In addition to her husband, Colleen is survived by her son, Robert E Brown of Ladson, SC; and sisters, Marie Holt of Jacksonville, FL, Virginia Roberts (Lloyd) of Ravenel, SC, Gail Hale of Moncks Corner, SC, and Dottie Ellis (George) of Cornelia, GA. In addition to her parents, Colleen was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Wilczewski; and sister, Irene Wilczewski.
