Cody Crago Obituary

Cody Robert Crago, 30, of Summerville, SC, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at his residence. He was the beloved son of Robert Brian Crago and Laura Graves Crago. Cody was a skilled mechanic with Charleston Auto Repair and had previously worked with Taylor Coastal Construction in Summerville. A graduate of Berkeley High School, Cody was an active participant in sports, having played JV football for Berkeley and baseball through the Moncks Corner Recreation Department. He was passionate about fishing, cooking, and was known as a 'master griller'. Cody cherished spending time with his children and enjoyed attending the Indy 500 annually with his grandfather. He loved music, spending time on the lake, and participating in turkey shoots. Cody was proud of his achievements and had a talent for making people laugh. He is survived by his mother, Laura Graves Crago of North Charleston; his daughter, Whitley Crago of St. Stephen; his sons, Warren and Wyatt Crago of St. Stephen; his sisters, Haylee Crago of Moncks Corner and Kayla Crago of Eutawville; his grandfather, Bill Graber of Goose Creek; his aunt, Debbie Crago of Goose Creek; his uncle, Eddie Crago and his wife, Janet, of Goose Creek; his nephew, Gene Nolan of Eutawville; and his girlfriend, Katelynn Hinton of Hanahan. His memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday evening, July 30, 2025, in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 PM until the hour of service on Wednesday.
