Clyde Reynolds N. CHARLESTON - Mr. Clyde Voyd Reynolds, age 90, of North Charleston, SC, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025. Born on November 17, 1934, in Caroleen, North Carolina, Clyde lived a full and generous life marked by service, compassion, and community spirit. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Clyde served his country with honor as a Hull Maintenance Technician Chief Petty Officer and qualified diver. His dedication to service continued well beyond his military career - first as a truck driver, then as a small business owner of a beloved local fabric shop, and later, Clyde's Place. Yet, it was his tireless fundraising for others that became a true lifelong calling. Clyde's passion for community and fellowship was evident in his active involvement in several veterans and fraternal organizations. He was a member of Dorchester Masonic Lodge in North Charleston, SC as well as a member of the Omar Shrine Center in Mount Pleasant, SC and then he served a number of years as assistant Raban of Hillbilly Clan 82, and was once recognized as International Hillbilly of the Year. He was also a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the American Legion, The Forty & Eight Society of American Veterans, and the Fleet Reserve Association. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffrey Boyd and Sudie Conner Reynolds; his brother, Max Reynolds; his first wife, Mary Louise Reynolds; and his son-in-law, Steve Bloser. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication cherished by his wife, Anne Reynolds; daughter, Tammy Reynolds Bloser; and step-son, Larry Stein. He was a proud grandfather to Alex Bloser (Haley), Brad Bloser (Leah), Joel Stein, and a doting great-grandfather to Britton Bloser. He is also survived by his sister, Marie Reynolds Padgett, and sister-in-law, Cadie Martha Joyner. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, 10:00-11:00 AM at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406, followed by a chapel funeral service and masonic rites at 11:00 AM. Clyde will be laid to rest with full military honors at Carolina Memorial Park thereafter. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clyde's memory may be made to the
